11/13/2023 0 Comments Update oh my zsh![]() ![]() Adding that line still saves me almost a half second of startup time. Just about everything here can be ignored now except for the part about adding skip_global_compinit=1 to your ~/.zshenv if you are running Ubuntu (and possibly other distros). Update : All of my changes to oh-my-zsh that are listed here were pulled into the master repository last night. Zsh 4.3.12-dev-1-cvs (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu) $ /usr/bin/time /bin/zsh -i -c exit 0.47user 0.12system 0:00.64elapsed 92%CPU $ /bin/zsh -versionįor now I’m using zsh-beta, but I will have to investigate this further. (Images inside a wiki page may be displayed scaled down.$ /usr/bin/time /bin/zsh-beta -i -c exit 0.07user 0.04system 0:00.13elapsed 89%CPU $ /bin/zsh-beta -version Edit that to use the special (image-url)](image-url) syntax to make the image link to itself, so people can open the image in a new tab to view it full size. The uploaded image will turn in to an image in Markdown format. You can use issue #3619 for this to avoid spamming people with notifications about new issues. To upload an image to GitHub, just drag and drop it into the text area on an issue you're editing. ![]() The issue-attachment method can be done by anybody.) (It's also possible to store image files in a GitHub wiki itself, but this requires you to have Contributor permissions for the repo whose Wiki you're editing. We use issue attachments which will get them in to. We host all the screenshot images on GitHub itself, to avoid external dependencies on other hosting services or URLs that might break. Please, compress images before. There is also a separate collection of automatically-generated screenshots linked at the bottom of this page. We use manually-constructed screenshots because some of the themes require additional terminal configuration to look their best, and so the code in example shell sessions can showcase the theme's features.
